Terms of Service
Last updated: [LAUNCH DATE]
These terms apply to your use of landscapingmarincounty.com (the "Website"), operated under the name Marin County Landscaping (the "Company"). By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Website.
How Service Requests Are Handled
The Company operates the Website as an independent service that receives estimate requests and phone calls from property owners and routes them to independent, licensed local landscape contractors serving the requester's area. The Company does not itself perform landscaping work. Estimates, contracts, pricing, scheduling, workmanship, warranties, licensing and insurance are the sole responsibility of the independent contractor who performs the work. Any agreement for work is made directly between you and that contractor. California contractors must be licensed by the Contractors State License Board, and you can check any contractor's license at cslb.ca.gov.
Use of the Website
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and to provide accurate information when you submit a request. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Website.
Website Content
Information on the Website, including plant suggestions, drainage and construction methods, permit rules, water district rebates, fire-safety guidance, cost factors and project timelines, is general information for homeowners and is not a quote, a guarantee, or professional, engineering or legal advice. Permit requirements, rebate programs and fire-safety rules vary by location and change over time, so confirm them before starting a project.

The Website may link to sites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.

The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including damages arising from work performed by an independent contractor.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
